Usually four, a week apart, each about 30 minutes per area. That matches the 64-person and 34-person series with a combined radiofrequency and ultrasound device, both run as four weekly sessions; the 30-person Exilis face study used three weekly sessions. Your plan is set at the free consultation with Dr Marie Duggan, GMC 7488383, at Exilis London, 130 Harley Street, London, W1G 7JU.
Why it is a course
Exilis heats the tissue under the skin gently, with no downtime, and the effect builds. Each session contracts the existing collagen again and prompts more new collagen, and on the body the measurement falls gradually over the course. In the 64-person series with a combined radiofrequency and ultrasound device, the circumference was significantly lower a month after the fourth session in every area treated. A single session is not how the studies were run, and in our practice we do not plan one.
How the plan is set
In our practice the doctor measures the area at the consultation, agrees the areas, and writes the number of sessions and the price into the plan. In our practice several areas can be planned together, each as its own area with its own sessions. The result is read one to three months after the last session, which is when we measure and photograph it in our practice. Whether a maintenance session would add anything is a choice at that review rather than a schedule.
Price
We set out the price of Exilis in writing at a free consultation, and we price match any comparable written quote. Consultations and follow-up reviews are free whatever you decide. The how long it lasts page sets out the timeline, and the full guide covers the rest.
