Exilis for the flanks in London

The sides of the waist, the love handles, are treated in our practice with the body handpiece the way the abdomen series ran it, usually in the same course as the abdomen. No published series names the flanks on their own, and we say so; the abdomen series measured circumference, and the mechanism is the same around the side. Usually four weekly sessions of about 30 minutes for both sides, with warmth that builds and is adjusted with you, and no downtime. What it does on the flanks

Exilis aims to reduce the measurement at the waist and firm the skin over it; the abdomen series measured a smaller circumference, and no series has measured firmness. It is not a weight-loss treatment and does not remove a firm bulge the way fat freezing or surgery does. What the studies measured

The 64-person combined-device series measured the abdomen in 40 people, with the circumference significantly lower a month after the fourth session and satisfaction 4.48 out of 5, and its authors advise telling patients to expect moderate degrees of improvement. The session and after

In our practice the skin is cleaned and a thin layer of gel or oil applied, a return pad is placed on your skin, and the handpiece is moved over each side of the waist while the warmth builds. Pink, warm skin afterwards that settles over hours, and you go straight back to your day. Usually four weekly sessions, then the review one to three months after the last, where we measure and photograph in our practice.

Who it suits

In our practice, an adult close to the shape they want with a soft area at the sides of the waist, who will keep their weight steady through the course. Not with a pacemaker or other internal electronic device, metal implants in the area, pregnancy or breastfeeding, or an active skin infection.
